Qu’entendons nous de l’inaudible ?
MYOTIS est le solo de batterie amplifié d’Anthony Laguerre. Dans une recherche basée sur l’amplification de l’infiniment petit, des sons les plus imperceptibles, sur le rythme et la matière sonore, Anthony Laguerre exprime une sensibilité, une douceur ou encore une puissance grâce à ses mélodies non conventionnelles. Toujours à la limite du larsen, il met en vibration l’espace dans lequel il joue pour tendre vers une sensation de cathédrale sur saturée ou encore d’une foret primaire nocturne.

What can we hear in the inaudible?

MYOTIS is Anthony Laguerre’s solo project of amplified drum kit. Within research based on the amplification of the infinitely small, on the most imperceptible sounds, on rhythm and sound material, Anthony Laguerre expresses sensitivity, gentleness and power, through his unconventional melodies. Always on the verge of feedback, he vibrates the space in which he plays, tending towards a sensation of an oversaturated cathedral or a primeval nocturnal forest.
